I’m an experienced professional in hospitality based in Brighton.
I possess a strong eye for detail which helped me thrive in all projects that I worked on. I'm a very dedicated, reliable and self motivated individual that believes that working as part of a team is just as important as being able to work alone and manage your own workload. Always striving to achieve a high standard in whatever task I'm undertaking and learn new skills as well as expanding my knowledge.
Currently I'm working as freelance graphic designer in Brighton and as Head of kitchen at ARTBOX cafe.
I’m happy to apply the experience and skills I’ve obtained in my career in order to manage projects through creative problem solving and innovative thinking.

Head of Kitchen - Supervisor, ARTBOX cafe
>I'm responsible for the set-up and the effective operation of the kitchen whilst the food is up to standards during service.
>Instructed new staff on proper food preparation, storage, use of equipment, sanitation and safety procedures, ensuring food quality standards and adhered to special client request specifications.
>I'm managing staff by orientating, training, assigning, scheduling, supervising, evaluating and enforcing discipline as required.
>Responsible for opening and closing the shop, handling cash and closing the till.
>I'm involved in cost control, sanitation, menu development, performed monthly product inventories as well as the making of vegan and vegetarian ice-cream gelato in the premises.
>Covering for manager when is not there.
-Promoted from Kitchen staff to Head of Kitchen in June 2020.-Became Supervisor to assist the Manager in August 2021.

I was delegating tasks to our team as well as assisting them when needed. Handling cash at the tills, refunds, and complaints (from both staff and customers). I was making sure the work environment was pleasant and productive, as well as being responsible for health and hygiene, and reporting to a senior manager when required.
